Resumes
So I've begun applying for some jobs in the city, and I wanted to create a resume that really showcases my personality. My paper copy was very....wordy. It gets me interviews, but after one successful interview, a recruiter asked me if I wouldn't be offended if he suggested I jazz it up, "showcasing what's really important".
A creative assignment? Absolutely I'm not offended! Thank you, Tommy for giving me something fun to do for my career at large. Since graduation, I haven't been forced to create much, and this assignment was the perfect excuse to also learn a new software: Adobe InDesign.
Tommy wanted me to email him a copy before my next interview at his company, so I drafted a decent visual résumé and sent it his way. Meanwhile, I had decided I wanted to create a shockingly unique resume to bring to the next interview. Enter ViewMaster.
Using some narrow exact-o knives, super glue, photoshop, InDesign, a 24-hour kinkos, and transparency film, I was able to put this together in about a day.
