so it begins
Since the internet was first available to me, I have embraced it....online content is a home away from home. I can lose myself in wikipedia for hours, stumbleupon walks of life I never imagined, and endlessly flick through photos of places I wished I could visit.
But one thing I have always rejected was an online portfolio. I am an artist, and for as long as I have been making art, I have refused to do something as simple as scan my artwork and present myself online for the world to judge. It's not so much the judging, or the scanning, but I seriously hate web design. I find dredging through the build out of a website to be a waste of the time I could spend with my hands in the ink and chemicals of a studio.
But for some reason, just as I move across the country to New York, and scan all my work to submit for printmaking fellowships, internships, and residencies, I decided to just do it. So here is a website with my art on it.
