the cutting room floor

Regularly, but not frequently enough, I go through my active journals and notebooks and various notepad apps, and I find writings I started but never finished, or forgot about, and I try to fiddle with them, flush them out, turn them into more. It is only in this survey of scribbles and scrawls that I am aware of truly how much I write.

Much of it will never see the light of day, but nonetheless I am always writing.
